So it's been a few days. But I'm back in Rhode Island. Things here are more or less the same. The shop is going well, and it's still cold. Oh well, only a few more weeks of this I hope.
In bigger news...Chris Dale has decided to use clincher tires this upcoming season. Although he says only on his training bike, we'll have to wait and see. For now it's off to the shop. I'll touch base later on.

clinchers!?! why not just move into a cave and cook over a campfire.
ohh and sunday 930 at white electric. do it. do it.
I understand, Scotty. I've only driven on tubulars for training and racing since 1980. Was askairt of clinchers. Young Madam Sullivan says that clinchers will be good for me. It's a Pro Tip. I notice most of Young Madam's Pro Tips revolve around the sponsors on his banana-yella new team uniform. Hmmmmm. But I've learned to listen to Pro Tips. That's how I found tubulars in my teens. Young Madam is fast. I want to go fast. Young Madam rides clinchers sometimes. So I'm gonna ride clinchers sometimes. Like bike practice times. Clinchers with Full Caaaahhbon spokes. Mavic calls these R-Sys. I call them my first clinchers. I look forward to going fast with these clinchers at a local tenspeed practice race one evening this summer. Although I like wrestling flat tubulars in 20 degree weather far from home, I look forward to changing a flat tire with 2 or 3 little plastic clincher sticks. Cool.
